What Are Dentures?

Dentures are removable appliances that replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues. We offer both complete and partial dentures.

  • Complete Dentures – Used when all of a patient's teeth are missing.
  • Partial Dentures – Used when some natural teeth still remain.
  • Restoring Your Smile – They fill gaps and prevent other teeth from shifting.

Types of Dentures

We offer two types of complete dentures, conventional and immediate, as well as partial dentures to suit your needs.

  • Conventional Dentures – Placed after gums have fully healed, providing a precise fit.
  • Immediate Dentures – Placed immediately after extractions, allowing you to avoid being without teeth.
  • Partial Dentures – Removable appliances that attach to your natural teeth, or fixed bridges cemented in place.

Adjusting to Dentures

It takes time and practice to get used to wearing new dentures.

  • Learning to Wear – Your cheek and tongue muscles will need to learn to hold them in place.
  • Eating Comfortably – Start with soft foods cut into small pieces and chew slowly.
  • Speaking Clearly – Practice speaking to get used to pronouncing certain words or phrases.
